Pipeline infrastructure projects in Kuwait require liquid removal in gas gathering, processing and power station fuel gas systems.
In collaboration with world-class engineering firms, Innopipe designed and fabricated units ranging from 34”- 52” diameters. We built both the Innopipe separator, and liquids collection vessels to match each piggable drip location’s variable volumes produced.
Local content is key for some projects, so Innopipe contracts local fabricators to expedite delivery and reduce logistics costs. Some systems were installed in concrete underground bunkers with extended stem valves enabling above ground operation.
Liquids collected by the ASME B 31.8 (pipeline code) smart pig compatible drip are collected in the sump vessel, built to ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 (pressure vessel code) with a set of manways so the units can be coated and be periodically cleaned & inspected.
Example: 40” diameter Fuel Gas Delivery System
Package is designed for an over-design factor of 15% of the peak gas flow rate to achieve design flow rate based on data for lean / rich fuel gas. The system was also Post Weld Heat Treated, impact tested per applicable code as well as HIC tested in compliance with NACE MR0175 & ISO 15156 with controlled weld & parent metal hardness.
