OilPro shipped out three more 10″ high pressure Innopipe piggable pipeline drips to one of our Central Asian clients this morning from Estevan, Saskatchewan.
See image to the right as the drip systems are being loaded for transport.
Soon these units will be mated to their 3-phase collection vessels where we’ll remove liquids from vital gas gathering systems.
3 Innopipe Benefits
Removing liquids achieves 3 things for this producer:
1. Removes liquids and therefore back pressure on gas gathering systems, increasing gas volumes produced.
2. Reduces corrosion caused by water and mitigates black powder formation.
3. Separates water from oil for local processing.
Further Innopipe Benefits
This gas producer challenged Innopipe to further separate water from condensates. The result of Innopipe’s quiet (vs all conventional separator styles) internal flow regime is that a much smaller vessel size.
This in turn provides better phase separation with less retention time (and NO need for a mistex or coalescer) than conventional separation.
The smaller size means less metal, shorter build time, and lighter, easier logistics, even with heavy-wall 1440 psi designs.
No Slug Catchers = More Cost Savings
One of the big wins for this customer is that they’ve also eliminated the need for end-of-line slug catchers.
Anyone who’s ever priced 300 and 600 ANSI slug catchers can tell you about how long delivery is and how transportation costs add up fast.
Innopipe Is Proven Globally
Innopipe is an original Canadian design which can be built close to wherever you’re installing. We already built these in places ranging from Kuwait to Colorado and Brandon, Manitoba.
We shipped to Ontario and Alberta in Canada as well as Indiana and India.
We’ve tested them down to 1″ lines and installed them in up to 52″ lines.
Next Steps To Take
Ask yourself these questions:
Would you like to eliminate slug catchers from your capital budgets?
Do you have tight space on your offshore platform?
Are you looking to mitigate corrosion along the line at your line’s gate valve stations instead of at the end of the line, when the corrosion has already happened?
If the answer is “yes” to these questions, you should call us.
If your line is less than 10% liquids, we can save money and time.
